You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties

(CLICK ON A PIC AND IT WILL GO BIG)

I fancied a bit of a try at still life. It was wet and windy and grey so what better time. Cleared the kitchen top, plonked the chopping board down and and a rummage through the veg tray. What better way to spend a few hours on a Saturday. A mix of Provia 100 and Delta 100 pushed to 200. All on the trusty Pentax 67ii using the very rarely used 135mm f4 Macro unless it's the silly macro which would be a combination of a 35mm Takumar reversed on the tubes and the x2 converter.

Initially I corrected the WB in Lightroom but they looked terrible so I put the yellow back which was from the small table lamp used for lighting. Look so much better. So here's the contents of the veg rack. All organic of course!

Now for a bit of that silly macro stuff going from full on hairs of the fungu growing on a tomato out to a more sensible close up

Well chuffed with this lemon pip.

This is a lot closer than you think. This is one small piece of an individual floret on a cauliflower. Sort of shows the Mandelbrot effect
